The TU Dublin School of Art and Design, School of Biological, Health and Sports Sciences, Sustainability and Research Hub and the Research, Ethics and Integrity Office have collaborated with students from the second year of their BA Visual Communication Design to explore the work of underrepresented and marginalised women in science and creative fields. The project is also supported by the TU Dublin Office of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and the Faculty of Sciences and Health.
For this project, and as part of their coursework, students from the second year of their BA Visual Communication Design explored the work of underrepresented and marginalised women in science and creative fields. They researched the work of key female figures in these sectors and designed the posters to reflect the style and aesthetics of female creatives and to highlight the critical work of key female figures in science.
