Published: 1 May, 2024

The seventh international Biennial Dublin Gastronomy Symposium organised by the School of Culinary Arts and Food Technology will take place in Central Quad, Grangegorman on the 28-29th May 2024 around the theme of Food and Memory (Traces, Trauma, and Traditions). This event attracts both national and international speakers, and is open to all who are interested in any aspect of food, whether professionally or the simply culturally curious. This is a very convivial and welcoming gathering and includes a number of shared meals, keynote speakers, book launches, and the Dublin Gastronomy Fellowships which this year will be awarded to Seamas Caulfield (Céide Fields), Barbara Ketcham Wheaton (Harvard University), and Fergus Kelly (Dublin Institute of Advanced Studies).
