TU Dublin School Liaison team
Like you, we are beginning a new and very different academic year. Given that public health restrictions will remain in place for some time to come, we are re-configuring how our School Liaison team will work this year.
As personal visits to your School are not possible due to public health guidelines, the School Liaison Team is devising new ways to stay in touch with you. We hope that we can arrange virtual visits to your school to directly answer your questions and those of your students. We are setting up a calendar to schedule these visits and we would love if you could accommodate us in your timetable this year.
The team can help students to identify the kind of programme that would best suit their strengths and interests and to assist guidance counsellors in their role. They will also describe the student experience at TU Dublin and the kind of supports that are available to students, as well as the other side of campus life – getting involved with activities in sports and societies, meeting new friends and interesting people from other backgrounds.
The School Liaison Team will be running many online events (including Team and Zoom calls) over the course of the year. Some of these will be general, covering all of our programmes, while others will focus on specific topics, courses and disciplines. These events will be recorded and can be viewed at a later stage at your convenience.
We realise that this year will involve a lot of changes but we hope that this new approach will meet your needs, perhaps even better than before. Should you have any questions please, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org at any time and we will get back to you promptly.
We hope you and your students will have a safe and successful year, and we look forward to working with you.
