How to Apply

If you’re a Leaving Certificate applicant applying for a first-year, full-time undergraduate course, you apply through the Central Applications Office (CAO). You can find detailed information on how you can apply at

The standard closing date for applications is 1st February in the year of entry (also closing date for all restricted programmes) and 1st May is the closing date for late applications. For further details please view CAOs Timetable of Events

We also have a very small number of our programmes where you’ll be required to apply directly to the University.

The CAO processes applications for undergraduate courses in Irish Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). Decisions on admissions to undergraduate courses are made by the HEIs who instruct CAO to make offers to successful candidates.
