Student Support

Transition

The transition to college can be a challenge for some students, there are lots of new things to get used to and sometimes students can run into stumbling blocks because they don't know what to expect.

Career Development Service

We know that things are a little different this year, but we are here to support you whether you are a first year finding your feet during your early days at third level or a fourth year thinking about your next career step.

This year, much of our work with you will be online through one to one video calls, virtual workshops and access to a fantastic range of resources on this website.  Our primary means of communication with you will be via your university email address, this website and college notice boards/plasma screens.

Counselling Services

Counselling provides you with a safe, non-judgmental space to talk about and discuss any concerns you may have. All students are offered an Initial Assessment Appointment with a member of the counselling team, where their needs are assessed and a range of options will be explored. In addition to any mental health issues, you can talk about personal problems or academic concerns, in a private and confidential atmosphere.

Pastoral Care and Chaplaincy

‚ÄčOur Chaplaincy Team supports students as they journey through university life.

Financial Support & Access

If you face financial difficulties during your time at college, we have a number of assistance schemes in place.

Disability Service

The goal of the Disability Support Services is to ensure that no student with a disability experiences an educational disadvantage in accessing, fully participating in and benefiting from educational opportunities at TU Dublin.
