Student Support

Career Development Service

We know that things are a little different this year, but we are here to support you whether you are a first year finding your feet during your early days at third level or a fourth year thinking about your next career step.

This year, much of our work with you will be online through one to one video calls, virtual workshops and access to a fantastic range of resources on this website.  Our primary means of communication with you will be via your university email address, this website and college notice boards/plasma screens.

Read on to learn more about what the Career Development Centre can do to enhance your third level experience.

Online Resources:

This website provides a range or resources the help you define your short and long-term career goals and advice around actions you can take to take ownership of your career journey. Our Students & Graduates page will provide you with resources to develop an action plan, compile a winning CV and ace your interview!

We arrange career workshops, employer events, and Careers Fairs throughout the academic year and we will also keep you updated about recruitment events in your sector via our Events Calendar.

Job Opportunities:

All students have access to Jobscene  where you can have the latest job postings and graduate programmes targeting TU Dublin students sent directly to your registered email.

Career Coaching:

If you feel you would benefit from speaking to a Career Coach then get in touch with your Campus Team to make an appointment.

At present, we are offering virtual career support via email, phone and video call using MS Teams.

We will often schedule bookable quick query sessions.  Be sure to check your email regularly for updates.

For First Years:

We understand that starting at third level can be both an exciting and challenging experience. As part of the Campus Life service, we are here to support you throughout your studies so do get in contact with your Campus Team.

TU Dublin Career Development Centre values links with employers. We welcome you to attend our Virtual Careers Fairs, meet our talented students and graduates and promote job opportunities via our Jobscene platform.
