In these challenging times when most business are understandably tightening budgets we are delighted MOY, an established waterproofing full system provider for the roofing sector, have announced they are continuing their scholarship programme to support Architectural Technologists of the future. The programme is with 3 leading colleges in Ireland and MOY are looking to establish a UK bursary programme for online submissions. The programme, worth in excess of €10,000, promises to create stronger industry connections for students as they move from their scholarship year into final year and work placements.

MOY are delighted to partner with the Dublin School of Architecture, TU Dublin and its 3rd year BSc (Hons) Architectural Technology students. The scholarship arises from and builds upon an affiliation MOY have had with the Dublin School of Architecture over the past 20 years through industry presentations, site visits and architectural technology graduate engagement initiatives.

“The MOY scholarship is our way to support future talent and help alleviate some of the financial hardship students experience especially in these unprecedented pandemic times. Alongside this will also be onsite training in specialised roofing systems with us at MOY, additionally we will look to partner with a leading architectural firm who will mentor the chosen student providing invaluable insight to the sector. We really look forward to developing our affiliation with TU Dublin who we’ve established strong links with over the past number of years through presenting our industry CPD’s to students of architecture and architectural technology” said Cathal Quinn Global Commercial Director.

The Moy Materials Scholarship for Architectural Technology aims to support a 3rd year Architectural Technology student who has demonstrated a combination of steady academic achievement and engagement with a clear sense of their future role as an Architectural Technologist in practice. The scholarship is worth €3,000 and is open to current third year students of the DT175 BSc (Hons) Architectural Technology.

The inaugural Moy Materials Scholarship was awarded to Saoirse Gough in November 2019.
