You will receive your final year exam transcript outlining your final award classification, for example, First Class Honours, Distinction, Merit, Pass etc.

If you are taking supplemental examinations, you will only become eligible to graduate when you have confirmation you have passed your final exams.

If you opt to take an exit award, you will need to contact your local examination office to confirm your eligibility.

For students awaiting results for Masters Programmes, you will be contacted when your award board has taken place, which could be two to three weeks before the Graduations Ceremony.

Please note: All students who are eligible to graduate will feature in the online ceremony, but those with outstanding fees will not be sent their parchments or have access to their results transcripts until their accounts are cleared.

Our Spring Graduation Ceremonies will be held online on Friday, 12 March 2021. We will confirm the time of your ceremony shortly. You local Exams Office will be in contact soon, and we hope you will join us online to celebrate your achievement and that of your classmates.

All those eligible to graduate as part of the TU Dublin class of 2021 will receive their parchments to their home addresses. If you have changed your address or think we may not have your updated details, please contact your local exams office.

You can invite as many guests as you would like to your online graduation ceremony.

You can join the TU Dublin Graduate Network on our website here.

Some students eligible to graduate are still studying with us – for example, if you started and completed a Level 7 programme with us, and you are now doing an additional year to get a Level 8 qualification, then you are still eligible to graduate from your level 7 programme while continuing your level 8 studies. However, if you started a Level 8 programme and are now in Final Year, then you are not eligible to graduate until you have completed your studies.

The Graduation Ceremony will not be an interactive event – it will be a broadcast online, and there are no limits on the number of people who can watch.

No – all you have to do is click on the link to watch the ceremony. The link(s) will be posted on https://www.tudublin.ie/connect/graduates/graduation-2021/

Unfortunately, robes cannot be posted to addresses outside of Ireland.

The University hopes to have an in-person celebration event for our graduating students in the future. However, this is dependent on national COVID-19 guidelines/restrictions.

All graduating students’ parchments will be posted to the address we have on file for you. The parchments will be posted to the graduands after the ceremonies.

If you have changed your address or think we may not have your updated details, please contact your local exams office.
