Staff IT Services - Tallaght

Tallaght  provides a large variety of Computing Services to all staff, undergraduate students and postgraduate students. The Information Technology Manager, Stephen Keegan, works with specialist teams to deliver these technological based services.

Information Technology is a key aspect of our courses, and the campus is equipped with the most up-to-date systems to meet students’ needs. Students have access to industry standard hardware (personal computers, printers, scanners etc.) and software, (word processing, accounting spreadsheets, database, statistics, computer aided design, graphics programming application, etc.).

As a TUDublin Tallaght staff member you are entitled to the use of a wide range of services within TUDublin Tallaght including email, Eduroam Wifi, printing, Teams, voicemail, data storage, technical support, and much more.

You also have access to various services provided by HEAnet such as Wifi via Eduroam and large/secure file sharing via FileSender.

The IT Support Walk in ServiceDesk is currently closed however, we will continue to support staff in the coming year, below is the process that will be used to contact the ServiceDesk:

Staff Members contact IT Support via phone 01-2207555 or email

  • Ticket Logged in Helpdesk System
  • Troubleshooting and Diagnosis take place over phone/email
  • Remote tools used where applicable to resolve the issue
  • Most Issues can be resolved in this way however some issue may require an appointment with a member of the service desk on campus
  • The service desk will arrange a date, time and location with the staff member
  • Troubleshooting and Diagnosis will take place
  • Issue resolved
  • If the issue cannot be resolved in a timely manner the issue may be escalated or referral to a 3rd party
