IMPACT AND BENEFITS
The main benefit to TU Dublin will be the skills development of graduates and postgraduates working in different sectors where standards and regulations play a huge part in ensuring the quality and safety of products and services in global markets. Building a cadre of talent that is trained using the direct experience of SGS’s many thousands of assessors and auditors across the globe, provides employers with the skills required to efficiently and effectively implement required standards and regulatory requirements to trade in the market.
It will also enable SGS to engage in robust research with respect to organisations’ needs for emerging skills and as well as skills gaps and to identify potential talent for future auditors and assessors, roles that are often difficult to fill due to skill shortages in roles that require very high levels of knowledge and real-world experience.
