Introduced in February 2024, this inaugural programme will provide financial assistance to two outstanding students for the duration of their studies, allowing them to focus on their education and future careers.

The aim of the Chadwicks Group Scholarship is to award and support talented and committed Access students in the Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment in TU Dublin. Total scholarship amount is €3,000 per year for the duration of studies on the scholars current course.

The Chadwicks Scholars for academic year 2024 are Cumar Hasan and Jemima Dos Santos.

"Receiving this scholarship has been a transformative experience for me. Prior to receiving this generous support, I faced the challenge of securing stable housing. This period was particularly difficult, as the uncertainty of my living situation placed immense stress on my ability to focus on my studies. The scholarship not only took away the financial burden but also provided me with the means to secure stable accommodation. Knowing that there were people who believed in my potential and were willing to support me during such a critical time was incredibly amazing". Cumar

"The scholarship has allowed me to focus more on my course.all I have to think about is
whether I’m going to pass or not. I'm very thankful for my scholarship and I’ll continue to
work my hardest for myself and for any other student that is reading this and isn’t so
confident about doing a male dominated courses don’t be because you can get
opportunities like this one just like I did I’m honestly so glad that Chadwick opened their
program to boys and girls."
