Library initiatives to support students with additional needs:
Colour Overlay Sheets
Colour Overlay Sheets are available for students to borrow from City Centre libraries. In the majority of sites, students can borrow a pack from the desk. In Aungier Street Library they can borrow the sheets themselves from the Self Issue Machines. See images attached.
Noise Cancelling Headphones:
Kevin Street Library, City Centre provides a number of high-quality wireless noise-cancelling headphones are available for use in TU Dublin Kevin Street Library. While these headphones are available for all library patrons for use in Kevin Street library they may be of particular advantage for students who experience acute sensitivity to acoustic overload. We would recommend the use of these headphones particularly but not restricted to library patrons with acoustic sensitivity.
Other site libraries may purchase headphones depending on the demand for them in Kevin Street.
Feedback on these two initiatives is welcomed, please contact email@example.com
