Denis was appointed to his current role in TU Dublin in 2019, having spent the previous seven years in senior Corporate Services roles in IT Blanchardstown and DIT.
Prior to these roles Denis spent almost two decades working at general management level in the Irish food processing sector, leading teams servicing the retail and food service sectors in Ireland and overseas.
Having qualified as an accountant, Denis’s initial experience was in the corporate finance area with particular emphasis on supporting and advising SMEs and start-ups. Denis was also the initial holder (1993-98) of the Secretary/Financial Controller post in DkIT.
Denis lives in Skerries and is married with three adult daughters. He has been involved in hurling from his youth and has coached hurling and camogie at club and county level.
