I am delighted to welcome you to the homepage of the School of Social Sciences, Law, and Education.

Each of the disciplines within the school provide a range of full-time and part-time taught programmes (levels 7 and 8). In addition, students of both Law and Social Sciences can pursue taught postgraduate studies as well as research-based awards at masters and doctoral levels (levels 9 and 10). A strong feature of our Social Care and Early Childhood Education degrees is their practise-based and career focused orientation. Both programmes are regulated respectively as approved programmes by CORU-the Health and Social Care regulator, and by the Qualifications Advisory Board. Our law programmes are recognised by the Kings Inns for entry to the Barrister-at-Law degree.

Members of the School are engaged in the highest levels of research, scholarship, and engagement. Such activities ensure that our School makes a significant contribution to civil society nationally and internationally.
