PhD positions available with Dr Mikhail Filatov

Applications are invited for three fully funded PhD positions within the ‘DyeSICPhoto’ project. The focus of ‘Dyes with Switchable Intersystem Crossing for Photonics’ project is to explore applications in biophotonics (dyes as smart sensitizers for photomedical treatments and imaging probes for reactive oxygen species in living cells) as well as solar energy conversion (dyes as components of multichromophoric assemblies capable of efficient light energy harvesting and conversion).
The project is led by Dr Mikhail Filatov, Organic Chemistry lecturer here in the School of School of Chemical and BioPharmaceutical Sciences in Grangegorman, in collaboration with Prof Mathias Senge (Trinity College Dublin).
