TU Dublin Academic Delivers Keynote at Vietnamese National University

Dr Anthony Paul Buckley visited the prestigious Vietnamese National University in Hanoi where he delivered a seminar to the country’s future leaders in Higher Education.

Dr Buckley’s presentation, Managing Innovation in HEIs in the 21st Century, ‘focused on the challenges facing the University sector globally and on how universities can meet these challenges through the process of ‘disciplined innovation management’. TU Dublin’s journey from Institute of Technology to Technological University was used as an exemplar case in the presentation.

Dr Buckley used his research on innovation processes in developing the presentation, which was sponsored by Irish Aid in Vietnam through the Irish Embassy in Hanoi. 

Dr Anthony Paul Buckley is Assistant Head (Enterprise & Business Development) at the School of Marketing in TU Dublin.

The biggest mural painting in Vietnam, the last work of French artist Victor Tardieu, was restored successfully and was displayed in the former Dong Duong University (VNU) at 19 Le Thanh Ton Street, Ha Noi on May 15, 2006, to celebrate 100th anniversary of the school.
