TU Dublin welcomes Mature & Advanced Entry Students

4 Sep, 2020

TU Dublin Orientation for Mature and Advanced Entry Students begins on Monday, 14 September with a range of online sessions running all week.

We want to extend a warm welcome to all our mature and advanced entry students joining us this academic year.  Returning to education is an exciting prospect and a positive step. However, we are acutely aware that mature students may face specific challenges often different from those facing traditional CAO applicants. Needless to say, these challenges maybe even more significant this academic year.

With this in mind, we have put in place a range of tailored supports to make your transition into higher education as smooth as possible. As part of these supports, we provide an Orientation Programme for Mature and Advanced Entry students in advance of academic orientation sessions.

In previous years 94% of students who attended our orientation sessions said they would recommend them to fellow students.

We’re conscious that mature students may have family and work commitments, and with this, in mind, we have designed a programme of orientation activities to choose from.  You may select and register for the individual sessions that are most relevant to you.
