"Like gold to airy thinness beat" is an art piece that has been selected by the Stichting Moon Gallery Foundation for an exhibition that will be launched up to the International Space Station in February 2022.
Ultimately, the Moon Gallery aims to send 100 artefacts to the Moon as early as 2025. This would be the first permanent museum on the Moon.
This piece – designed to fit inside 1 cm3 – was created by artist Gillian Fitzpatrick and Dr Justin Donnelly, an academic from the School of Physics & Clinical & Optometric Sciences, TU Dublin. Find out more about the project in the information pack below.
