Where is the Students Union?
The Students union is located in a purpose built complex behind the bicycle compound close to the pedestrian entrance to the institute. The office is open from Monday to Friday and anyone with any questions, queries, problems, complaints, or suggestions is welcome to visit at any time.
Remember; GET THE BALANCE RIGHT!! Get a good balance between study and play, Yes! Go out enjoy yourself, get involved in the Student Union events and also with the Clubs & Societies in the College BUT!! Keep up with your Classes and CA’s do this and exam time will seem a doddle.
I would like to wish you all the best of success and enjoyment this year in TU Dublin-Tallaght Campus.
What are the class representatives?
Every class will elect a class representative at the beginning of the year whose role is to work for the interests and needs of the students in their class. The class rep is the link between the class and the institute authorities, the lecturers, and the student union. Remember the class rep should not necessarily be the most popular person in the class rather the person that will represent the class the best.
Do students get involved in charity work or with the local community groups?
Yes, each year the student union makes a point of supporting both local and national charities.
