Student Life

Student Life

As a student at TU Dublin, you are automatically a member of TU Dublin Students’ Union. You can expect a level of service, support, guidance and engagement that is not matched in any other third-level institution. The union prides itself on the role it plays in students’ lives, including fantastic events and entertaining, informative campaigns.

Since the strength of any students’ union depends on its membership, please get involved as much as you can.

TU Dublin Sport supports participation and performance in sport and the health and wellbeing of our students and staff. As you get into college life, it may surprise you to learn that it’s not all about beating the well-worn track from lecture hall to library and vice versa. TU Dublin has more than a hundred societies including volunteering, performing arts, campaigning, religious, sign language, student media and course-related societies. Run by students for students, the societies are supported by the staff of the society’s office through advice, administration and finance. TU Dublin seeks to develop our community on campus by providing activities, events, entertainment and development opportunities.

If you’re new to college watch out for our for Clubs & Socs Day which takes place at the beginning of each new academic year – it’s a great way of meeting new people and finding out what’s on offer. In the meantime follow our social media channels for updates.
