The Association of Franco-Irish Studies (AFIS) was set up as an offshoot of the NCFIS to organise conferences, doctoral training seminars, guest lectures and bring out several publications, a list of which can be found below:

When one considers the publishing opportunities for TU Dublin staff that are directly attributable to their involvement in the AFIS, one can see that there are 70+ book chapters, 30 journal articles, 22 edited or co-edited books and three monographs.
