PhD Registration Fees
Graduate research student fees with effect from 1 August 2019 are as follows:

* The loyalty fee only applies to new self-funded research students. Before applying for the loyalty fee, you must have successfully completed at least two years’ undergraduate or one year’s postgraduate education at TU Dublin on a self-funded basis, i.e. you must have paid at least two years (or one year, if postgraduate) of full fees, including tuition fee and every other application fee.
All students are permitted a grace period of up to six months after their due date. Students who fail to submit within the six-month grace period following their thesis submission date can continue as a registered student for one year only, on payment of the supervision fee, €8,500, in which case they will have full access to facilities and supervision.
