Chemical Kinetics:

Molecularity, order and rate constant for chemical reactions, Arrhenius equation, complex and multistep reactions, techniques for the study of kinetic systems, interpretation of kinetic data

Chemical Thermodynamics:

First, second and third laws of thermodynamics, enthalpy, entropy, types of systems, reversibility, state functions, free energy

Chemical Equilibrium:

Evaluation of equilibrium constants, Le Chateliers principle, acid base theory, solubility products

Ionic Equilibrium:

Strong and weak electrolytes, conductivity, Kolrausch’s Law, ion mobility, limiting molar conductance, Debye-Huckel theory
