Programme Title: Accounting Technicians (ATI)

School Leavers pass grade in 5 Ordinary level subjects (including an O5 in English and either Maths or Accountancy), or pass grades in 2 Ordinary level subjects together with 2 pass grades at Higher level (or) Successful HETAC, FETAC graduates.

Mature learners Once you are over 21 and as long as you have the relevant visa, you may apply based on age or experience.

All applicants must have competence in spoken and written English (Minimum IELTS 6).

If you are interested in a career in accounting, this ATI qualification will give you the opportunity to work in many types of accountancy jobs or act as a stepping stone to pursue further accountancy studies.

Students will obtain opportunities in a wide variety of finance roles for many types of organisations. In addition, many who qualify as Accounting Technicians go on to continue their studies, using the qualification as a stepping stone to eventually becoming professional accountants.

The course runs 2 evenings a week over 2 semesters (Monday and Wednesday from 6pm until 10pm). First Year gives you a foundation knowledge of business and accounting, while the Second Year allows you to build a deeper understanding of more advanced accounting issues.
