Programme Title: Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) Mechanical Engineering (Automation)

Candidates must have the Level 7 BEng in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent, with a GPA of 2.5 and a B average grade in Maths.

Automation engineers with strong core mechanical engineering foundations are highly valued within the pharmaceutical, medical devices, food, mechanical and manufacturing sectors. Employers have expressed the need for this particular skill set along with their problem solving and analytical skills that a BEng (Hons) Engineering graduate possesses.

Graduates of this programme can work as an engineer or project manager across a broad spectrum of industry including the biomedical industry, pharmaceutical, machine design and food and beverage industry. The programme appeals to employers or employees who wish to upskill in a highly automated environment where industrial automation is a key focus of the company’s business need.
