Ordinary Bachelor Degree (NFQ level 7) with pass grade in a cognate area (or equivalent qualification)
This course is designed to give students a strategic overview of the main functional
areas of a modern business environment. The curriculum offers a variety of learning that will prepare graduates for the fluidity and dynamism of the modern business environment and to develop their adaptive capabilities.
Graduates with a Bachelor of Business (Honours) tend to find employment across a wide range of sectors such as financial services, retail, education and the public service in roles such as trainee accountant, recruitment consultant, store manager, funds administrator, sales managers to name a few.

To facilitate students who are working, two subjects per semester will be a blended delivery of live online classroom along with face to face lectures.
Students must have access to a PC and broadband internet access in order to engage fully in an online classroom environment. Computer labs will be available for students to use during these times. Students can also access recordings of the online lectures at their own convenience.
Students who successfully complete the Bachelor of Business (Honours) with a second class honours (GPA 2.5) are eligible to apply for the Masters in Business.
