Course Title: Certificate in GMP and Regulatory Affairs

If you are under 23 years old on 1 January you must have achieved Grade D3 in five Leaving Certificate subjects, including Mathematics and English or Irish or a FETAC Level 5 qualification or equivalent unless otherwise stated. That is 5 subjects: O6/H7, English or Irish: O6/H7 and Mathematics: O6/H7, or better to apply for year one of this course.

A mature student must be over 23 years on 1st January of year of application.

All applicants must have competence in written and spoken English. Generally, it is expected that the applicants will be working in the Pharmaceutical Industry or related sectors.

 

This course was developed after extensive consultation with the Pharmaceutical Industry and related sectors. The course will offer those currently working in the industry an opportunity to acquire a foundation in the field of Regulatory Compliance.

The course will offer those who have an interest in working in the Pharmaceutical Industry a knowledge and understanding of the Good Manufacturing Practice and the regulatory environment.

The course runs over 1 academic year, 1 evening a week. Some modules may be delivered in blended mode, a combination of class contact and distance learning.
