I have found the course really interesting and it has complemented my previous business knowledge which was what I was looking for as I wanted to merge the financial side business with business strategy. The classes are fast paced, but if you are ever stuck or unsure the lecturers are always willing to go back over something or to meet with you. Although I came from a Business background many of my friends in the course came from lots of different degrees but have found the transition easy and manageable! I would highly recommend this course, its a steep learning curve but it is one that you will reap the rewards from.
My first weeks in TU Dublin were daunting to say the least, having never undertook an accounting module in any of my previous studies or at leaving certificate level, the clear scale of what I had undertook had begun to settle in. I decided it was best to voice these concerns with one of the lecturers and was immediately reassured that not only had I the capabilities to successful complete the course, but also that I would have the unwavering support from the lecturers to help me step by step along the way. Coming from large lecture halls with often two hundred plus students in my undergraduate studies, to small class based learning, was something I noted as beneficial from the beginning. The hands on teaching approach lecturers undertake in TU Dublin is one which I believe lays the foundations for each student to achieve. The teaching team as a whole are focused and motivated. My studies have not only been interesting and stimulating, but motivating.
