This three-year programme aims to prepare students for middle-level responsibility in an accounting environment and enter the world of employment with a solid qualification.

You don’t need to have studied any Leaving Certificate Accounting, Business or Economics subjects. We start at an introductory level, which will prepare you for the more complex concepts you’ll meet at a later stage of your studies. Subjects include financial accounting, IT, business maths, business law, economics, marketing, international financial reporting, company law, organisational psychology, taxation, business in the digital age and investment analysis.

As you progress, you build up credits and exemptions that are recognised nationally and internationally. After just three years, you’ll have obtained 7 ACCA exemptions. For full details on exemptions from these professional bodies, visit

Should your circumstances change, you’ll be able to postpone your studies or continue them part-time in the evening, or you can exit the programme at Level 6 (Higher Certificate in Business & Accounting) or at Level 7 (Bachelor of Business in Accounting & Finance).

Small classes, excellent lecturers and a well-balanced course structure combine to create a high-quality learning environment delivering content relevant to professional employer demands. Lecturers are extremely approachable and supportive, which fosters an environment in which students can reach their full potential and accelerate their professional career. I would highly recommend the course to all those who are interested in accounting and aiming to undertake professional accounting exams.
This course prepares each individual student for the workplace, by giving particular attention to the skills that they would need to become a successful accountant. The lecturers are approachable and take time out of their day to help any students with any queries they may have. The content of the course aligns with the professional accounting bodies and in turn this gives a greater degree of preparation than most other accounting courses.
