On the CAO application, the student applies for TU772 Bachelor of Business (Common Entry).
At the start of Year 1, the student decides which area of Business they wish to focus on and transfers to one of the following Level 7 courses:

Are you unsure what area of business to go for? Our Common Entry Business course will give you the time you need to choose the right specialism for you.

You can apply for a non-specific area of Business on the CAO. After registration, you’ll take part in a special induction/orientation programme that highlights the differences between the business courses. At the end of orientation, you can choose which stream of study you wish to pursue.

In Year 1 you’ll be offered a choice of 5 streams:

TU771 Bachelor of Business 

TU777 Bachelor of Business and Information Technology

TU778 Bachelor of Business in International Business

TU775 Bachelor of Business in Accounting and Finance

TU781 Bachelor of Arts in Digital Marketing

Students who choose the Information Technology electives in Year 1 will have a choice of the Business or the Business and Information Technology stream in Year 2 and subsequent years.

Students who choose the Language electives in Year 1 will have a choice of the International Business stream or the Business stream in Year 2 and subsequent years.

The Accounting and Finance stream is available from Year 3 to students who have chosen the Business stream in Year 1 and Year 2.

Further Study: On completion students may progress on to Honours Degree Programmes in the stream that they have chosen:

Bachelor of Business (Honours) in International Business

Bachelor of Business (Honours) in Business & Information Technology

Bachelor of Business (Honours) in Accounting & Finance

Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Digital Marketing

IT Requirements

Students on this course will be required to have a medium spec computer/laptop (i.e. able to run Win 10, an AV solution and Office comfortably. Be able to use Wi-fi and camera to attend online classes, use other software such as SPSS, Adobe Connect; e.g. Latitude 5510; Latitude 5410;
