Due to climate change and a focus on sustainable transport (logistics, public transport and freight), the need to manage and plan transport infrastructure and the implications of Brexit, there are now major opportunities for those wishing to make their careers in the sustainable transport sector.
The level 8 Degree in Sustainable Transport Management will give graduates the opportunity to gain employment in a management and planning capacity in road, railway, maritime and aviation transport. This course focus on the planning and management of transport systems in Ireland and internationally. There is a work placement in year 3 where students have an opportunity to gain some real experience in the sustainable transport sector.
Due to new transport infrastructure and Brexit, the transport sector is one of the most important in the country and is the backbone of the economy.
