Join European University of Technology at the EUt+ Ideas Institute event for EUt+ Week

The EUt+ Ideas Institute was established to examine the features of sedimented conceptual ground and to allow discussion to take place in a context of a university which has a fundamental remit and the role of posing questions without conditions. This must include an examination of the professed European values of human dignity, freedom, democracy, rule of law and human rights. 

In the EUt+ Ideas Institute event entitled “What European Values?”, renowned policy experts and academics will come together to offer their perspectives on the values that underpin the heart of the European project, in the spirit of debate and open discussion.

The event will consist of talks by three keynote speakers:

  • Hans Kundnani - Associate Fellow, Europe Programme, Chatham House (attending online)
  • Richard Kearney - Charles B. Seelig Chair of Philosophy, Boston College (attending online)
  • Lorna Hayes -Deputy CEO Policy and Research, European Movement Ireland

Furthermore, the event will host an interdisciplinary expert panel from TU Dublin consisting of:

 

This event will be recorded and streamed online (YouTube) where it will be archived, and a photographer will be present taking pictures. By attending this event, you may appear in publicly shared photography and videos.
