Free Entrepreneurship Programme for Young People in the North East Inner City

Published: 11 Jan, 2024

The North East Inner City (NEIC) Kickstart is a free 10-week Entrepreneurship Programme for young people living in Dublin's North East Inner City to develop their business ideas while also preparing themselves for a career in self-employment.

The partnership is a joint venture from TU Dublin GROWTHhub, the Dublin NEIC Task Force, Inner City Enterprise, the Open Doors Initiative, and Dogpatch Labs.

NEIC Kickstart is designed to bring the student through the stages required to develop their enterprise idea, like how to evaluate their vision, understand their value proposition and the market, sell in their product/service market and finance their business.

The programme's key objective is to help the student prepare for a career in entrepreneurship; students who complete the programme requirements will graduate from NEIC Kickstart with a Certificate in Entrepreneurship from TU Dublin.

The programme is scheduled to start on Friday, 02 February 2023; the interactive workshops will be taking place at Dogpatch Labs' state-of-the-art start-up hub located in the Docklands.
