Booking to use the Library

You must book an appointment to use the library. You can do that using the Library Booking System.

At present the library can only offer individual, socially distanced, study spaces, which must be booked in advance.

If you have not used the library booking system before, you will need to set up an account. The system will prompt you to do this, and your log in details are:

  • Username: FULL email address (e.g. B********@mytudublin.ie)
  • Password: Your network password

You can book to use the following services:

Individual Study Space with P.C.

  • You will be allocated a desk with a computer by a member of library staff when you come to the library.
  • If you need to print any materials it is a good idea to book a desk with a P.C.
  • You may browse the shelves and take out books during your study time.

Individual Study Space - Desk Only

  • You will be allocated a desk with no computer, but with a power point, by a member of library staff when you come to the library.
  • You may browse the shelves and take out books during your study time.

Individual Browsing

  • Browsing the shelves is now allowed in the library.
  • The service is by appointment and the bookings are for 30 minutes.

Please see the library opening hours for the time slots available to you for each service.

You will need to show your booking email at the library desk when you arrive. You must wear a mask at all times in the library, and you must adhere to all library rules and social distancing guidelines currently in place.

DO NOT come to the library without a booking confirmed by email

You must also not come to the library if you have any COVID-19 symptoms, or if you are a close contact.

If you have any questions, you can contact library staff at libraryinfo.blanchardstown@tudublin.ie.
