As part of Year 3, students have the option to complete a work placement worth 25 credits. The aims of the placement are to: · Provide students with the opportunity to participate, under supervision, in the operations of a company or organisation involved in accounting or finance. · Give students experience of a professional working environment. · Provide students with the opportunity to apply best industry practice to real life accounting and finance. · Give students the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge gained during their programme of study. · Give students the opportunity to refine their accounting and finance skills. · Assist the student in determining their preferred area of professional practice. This module will be graded as pass fail.
