This module will further enhance the student’s knowledge of the main research methodologies commonly utilised within the social care environment. It aims to develop student’s ability to plan a particular piece of research, placing particular emphasis on encouraging students to become independent and reflective researchers and to appreciate the value and contribution of research in social care provision. Students will also have the opportunity to critical analyse research relevant research pertaining to social care, and to develop skills to complete research within a social care setting.
