Human Resource Management

The purpose of this module is to introduce students to the theory and practice of HRM in organisations today. Specifically, the module will:Explain the nature and scope of HRM in an organisational setting.Identify and illustrate the context of the functions of HRM.Develop the managerial capabilities of students to handle the HRM tasks and challenges they may face in the future.Provide opportunities to apply and implement the various HRM skills and practices throughout the module through scenario building.
