This module is designed for students who have no previous knowledge of the language. It aims to introduce the four language skills and give learners a background knowledge of Spain and the Spanish-speaking countries.
The development of Listening and Speaking skills
Asking and responding to simple questions in areas of immediate relevance.Recognising and using basic phrases relating to self, family and immediate surroundings.
The development of Reading and Writing skills
Reading short simple texts and understanding familiar names, words and basic phrases. Writing a short, simple postcard or email and filling in a form with personal details.
