This module is designed to develop the student’s language proficiency in particular in the area of advertising, marketing and product presentation. It also explores themes relating to culture and society in the Spanish-speaking world.
The development of Listening and Speaking skills
Identifying specific information in TV and Internet advertisements. Expressing and giving reasons for opinions. Preparing a product/company presentation in the target-language.Developing oral and aural skills through practising the language of telephone conversations.
The development of Reading and Writing skills
Reading more challenging texts consisting mainly of high frequency every day and job-related language. Identifying specific information in text-based advertisements. Writing simple emails.
