The purpose of this module is to define and develop workplace diversity competence in the Irish labour market. It also aims to critically analyse new ways of tackling disadvantage and discrimination that exclude potential employees from the labour market. The module will practice anti-racist awareness training and diversity management training in order to develop a range of analytical skills that may be applied to organisation-level decision-making. Finally, the module will provide an opportunity for the appraisal and application of the equality legislation for managing diversity and inclusion.
