Module Overview

Business Law

During a business students' career in a third level institution, they will be exposed to a wide variety of subjects, the study and relevance of which will be greatly enhanced if the student has a firm understanding of legal principles and how those principles inter-relate with other subjects to form a homogenous body of knowledge.

With the ever-increasing complexities of life in general, and business life, it is essential that the Business Executive be familiar with the legal requirements and obligations of the marketplace, and his/her legal rights.  Additionally, a good knowledge of law is of importance in pragmatic terms as it makes the Business Executive more valuable and attractive to potential employers.
