The module is designed to increase the students’ critical awareness of the communications process and to enhance the analytical skills needed to implement an effective communications system.

This module will set out to analyse the various theories surrounding the communications process and to understand the challenges involved in their implementation. The module will enable learners to explore the theories and practice involved in the negotiation, planning and delivery of information within the automotive sector. An emphasis is placed on working effectively within teams and groups in preparation for industry settings and the ability to incorporate sustainability (CSR) in business communications

This module will be delivered by way of in class lectures. These lectures are further supported by case studies and visual aids. Group work will used to enhance the learning environment, and a number of workshops sessions including Career preparation and problem based communication exercises will also be held during the module duration.
