Graphic Design

The aim is to foster an awareness of contemporary visual communication design and an ability to critically analyse animated, screen based and print design work.The importance of effectively planning and executing projects from design briefing to delivery of product is demonstrated, ensuring that client requirements are met and it prepares students to adequately research the target market of the design brief. To explore the possibilities of the typographic form as a means of visual communication and to foster an appreciation of major art and design trends throughout the 20th century and into the 21st century.The module is designed to familiarize students with Adobe Illustrator and InDesign.
