This module aims to provide learners with a foundational understanding of visual language, as a key part of the design process. Theoretical knowledge of visual language will be introduced and explored through mixed media approaches. Learners will develop an expanded vocabulary, and learn to analyse, discuss and develop material in relation to visual communication practices. Learners will engage in a design process, learn and apply key skills such as working to a brief, idea generation, iteration and delivering outcomes for a target audience.
