The purpose of this module is to introduce learners to topics related to the production, distribution, and reception of Digital Media. In particular it aims to increase learners' digital media literacy and promote critical thinking relating to the history and ethics of digital media content and platforms. This module will also introduce learners to some of the basic tasks involved in the production of digital media. After completing this module learners will be aware of a number of typical digital media production environments, tools, and processes.
