The purpose of this module is to equip the student with a number of high priority skill sets for the contemporary organisation. As such students will engage in the study of effective problem solving techniques based on curricula related scenarios that are contemporary and practical. Critical thinking skills will be engaged. In addition, strategies for navigating organisation issues and group dynamics will be harnessed. This module enables students to build upon and showcase their talents to prospective employers.
Executive Presentation Skills
Developing the presentation, visual supports in presentation, delivering the presentation, informative and persuasive speaking and virtual presentations.
Analytical and Critical Dexterity
Engage in evidence based management and its approach to become solution focused. Learn through practical application analytical skills, logical reasoning, critical thinking and evaluation. Develop and justify original arguments.
Organisational Dynamics
Introduce the curricula concepts of organisational aspects such as International Business, CSR, Innovation and Strategic Management. Scenario / case based learning that engages the student in pertinent & contemporary issues. Allow self-development in strategies that utilize means to get things done.
Problem Solving
Engage in problem solving. Develop holistic problem solving skills through practical application. Develop the potential and skill to navigate within groups and teams to reach goals. Become solution focused through application and practice.
