This module provides the student with an opportunity to work in a relevant industrial placement for a six month or three month period.

This full module is taken off-site as an industrial placement. During that time, the student will be using and enhancing their skills with input from the relevant industrial contacts at the placement company. Students may be working as part of a team or individually at the placement company, depending upon the individual requirements of the company. In addition, students will be assigned a work placement monitor from TU Dublin who will visit the student during the placement to ascertain how the placement is progressing.
