Telling Tales through the Still Image

This module introduces the students to the basic production tools of a lens-based medium, the camera. The module is project-driven and consists of three short pre-production problem-solving exercises that cover the lens and camera, exposure measurement and control, and compositional strategies. With a focus on narrative development, the module aims to foster a disciplined and reflective approach to the use of the camera and lens in the production of a story.
