This module aims to provide the graduate with comprehensive knowledge and proficiency in the areas of digital video production and post production. The student will be able to plan, coordinate and direct a video to film festival and broadcast standard.
Video Production
Create a video project to broadcast standards taking into account, technical, logistical, creative, design, management and legal requirements.
Video Editing
Further develop skills in non-linear editing using the Avid, Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro platform
Drama or Documentary proposal
Create an original proposal of a short drama, documentary or music video to industry standard.
Reflective Practice
Undetake a critque of your own production work and that of your peers.
Appraisal of a Short Drama
Analyse the technical components of a short drama production, evaluate the scripting elements and critique the directorial choices made.
