Module Overview


Entrepreneurship is the essence of free enterprise because the birth of new business gives the market economy vitality. New and emerging business creates a very large proportion of innovative products and services. The module challenges students to examine their entrepreneurial potential while examining key issues within the field of entrepreneurship.

This module constitutes an examination of the process of establishing a business, focusing on the practical realities of starting and running a new venture, the funding and support structures available to enable this, all underpinned by current theories of entrepreneurship and small business management
